Drift Training

Due to my passion for fast cars, I was invited by the “Test and Training“ Team  to drive a few rounds on the ÖAMTC road safety training centre in Melk/AUT. Under the competent instruction from Norbert Filippits, Ralleypilot, international known instructor and drifting god of Austria, I could choose between a Ralleyversion Mitsubishi EVO and a BMW M3. To me it was unimaginable that you can drift and still control a car by over 100 km/h but even though the passage was partly icy he persuade me that it is possible. No sign of daredevilry or excessive ambition but accuracy, sensitiveness and skills allow such amazing drifts. For me it was a wonderful experience that also showed me a few parallels between the motorsports and my sport.
