IBP Euro Tour Monfalcone/Italy

Again 200 of the best players in the world met in Monfalcone/Italy to play for the Euro Tour title. We played again in the Black Ball Billiard Center directly in Monfalcone.

In the first round I had to play Munoz Javier from Spain. I know him from the VNEA Spain Open. I had a good start and could a rapid 5:2 lead. But the match was not over yet. I started making mistakes and of course he made good use of these opportunities. He came closer and closer and finally took the lead. I was able to win another 2 games but in the end I lost 9:7. In the loosers round I played Hodzic Ivan (SCG). I made a few mistakes but I still kept him well under control. I managed to win 9:5. My last match on this day was at midnight against Monopoli Francesco from Italy. I played really good pool and gave him no chances. I entered the next round with a 9:5 score. On the next day I faced Comisso Simone from Italy. I played good at the beginning and I got better  better during the match. I crushed him 9:2. My next opponent was Roter Mariusz from Poland. I know he is a very good player so I am not allowed to make too many mistakes. The match was balanced till I took a 5:2 lead. Roter played really good and took a 6:5 lead. It was a tough fight but in the end I was the looser. I lost 9:7 and that was the end of the tournament for me.
