Due to my passion for fast cars I was invited to the press presentation by Rally team Kramer, to be the co-pilot in their new rallye car. The car is a 330 horse power strong Mitsubishi EVO 6,5 but thinking of a typical rallye car would be wrong because it is also the first rallye car in Austria that uses bio ethanol. On a 3 km (about 2 miles) test track, which was closed for the normal traffic, I was able to experience the rallye sport right from the cockpit. After 2 rounds, where my pulse reached a new level, I was kind of relieved when I got out of the car but also impressed by the amazing driving performance. Despite of the parallels our two sports like accuracy, preparation and exertion it was an unbelievable interesting experience for me.
