For the second time the 21- year old Jasmin Ouschan was honourd for her achievments with the sportswoman of the year award.
The award ceremony took place in the noble ambiance of the Casino in Velden at the Wörthersee. Next to a lot of important athlets and ex - athlets like Joe "Tiger" Bachler, Karl Schnabl, Werner Franz or Karl Wendlinger, who presented his new Aston Martin racing car, the carinthian politicians such as Jörg Haider, Gabi Schaunig and Wolfgang Schantl took part as well.
"This year I am totally surprised that I won and I am really happy, especially since I haven´t reached all my goals this year. Such a honour gives me a lot of energy and moivation for the next year and I am going to work as hard as I can on my goals for 2008," said a happy Jasmin Ouschan about the victory beside the pool table.
