During the time in Korea Jasmin Ouschan got the honour to play in the Europe vs. Korea event together with the carom World Champion Semih Sayginer and the 2001 Pool World Champion Mika Immonen. After a short time you could easily see that carom is more popular in Korea than in Europe. Team Europe played some really tricky shots but in the end they had no chance against the superhereos from Korea. With a clear defeat of 6:2 the Korean Team showed the European Team what they might practice in the next time.
"For me it was a completely new experience, since I am not playing on a carom table very often. The table and the cushions are reacting totally different so it was a very informative tournament for me and I hope that in the future I will be able to intgrate more of this in my pool game. Still I have to say that in the long run I like pool more."
