Due to the fact that Jasmin Ouschan participated at the 10 Ball World Championship in Manila, which was on the same date as a WPBA event, the Austrian got suspended for two tournaments.

At the election of the austrian sportsman and woman of the year 2007, Jasmin Ouschan finished 11th behind all the big skiing stars and ended up being the best athlete out of her county. Until now this is the highest finish for a pool player.

In a short term photoshooting in the fanatic biker country USA, pictures were taken for a special custom bike magazine from Los Angeles. Usually known for her passion for fast cars the elected Nr.1 athlete in her county felt pretty comfortable on the bike as well. Pics

After the team title in 2000 we only had second and third places, but this year it was time for a change. We, the team of Eintracht Klagenfurt with Jasmin Ouschan, Albin Ouschan jun., Andreas Brezic and Marko Bakarcic brought the title back to Klagenfurt.

In april I was in the youth prison in Klagenfurt/Carinthia to change the daily routines of the inmates for a little while with an exhibition. For 1 1/2 hours I tried to show them the world of pool and explained them how it is a as a Billiard Pro. It was a totally new and great experience for me and I would definately do it again.

In march 2005 the university of Innsbruck(Tirol) started a trainer education in Pool Billiard. 20 players of austria took part. We had lessons in: general: sport biology, first aid, kinematic, methodology, didactics, pedagogics, sport psychology and legal issues. Jörgen Sandman did the Pool Billiard part. This trainer education is equate with the EPBF Trainer C. I finished this education with perfect grades.

At the first Euro Tour of the year a stupid mistake in a hill hill match was the end of the tournament for me. Report...

On december the 16th Robert Windl and his wife reopened the new Billardclub "Kugelrund" in Salzburg. To entertain the people Ralph Eckert, Michael Felder (austrian pool player), and me performed a Trickshotshow and an exhibiton match. The new Club is definately one of the most modern and beautiful clubs in europe. Big praise to Robert and Romana!!! Pics...
